My flowers are painted from plants in my garden and I  have built my borders around the planting.
Initially they were done in pencil and watercolour on paper or gesso panels.
But I am currently experimenting making my own inks and dyes from plants in the garden and then using them in my final paintings.
My flower pictures are truly "of the flower".

The paintings on gessoed panels are intended to be hung as groups.  Start a collection, experiment with hanging them in small places or around corners.

Build a garden.  Choose flowers that symbolise birth months or Anniversaries.
